I moved to the area a little over a year ago & needed to find a dentist. Google led me to Dr. Blanchard & West. What a great discovery! They are flexible with scheduling & great with reminders. The entire staff demonstrates professionalism , friendliness & genuine care for their patients.
He messed up a tooth by grinding too much out of it which left me in quite a predicament. Then I come to find out he never even put a filling in ! He had told me it would be a five minute procedure to fix a "spot" and it turned into almost an hour procedure.
My number one phobia is the dentist, MY WHOLE LIFE. I have been kicked out of a dentist office. I have had dentist refuse to treat me after working on me once because of how severe my anxiety and panic can be. I have literally fainted walking into a doctor's office to get a chicken pox shot. I hate needles but am completely unphased by the pain, that part doesn't bother me at all. Something amazing happened today!
He maybe should've been supervised by an experienced DENTIST when attempting to work on a rear molar, a rear molar that was healthy. Two dentists have both confirmed what he has done to my tooth. Not to mention that Ozark was paid in full at the office visit and then the cost of having it repaired Buy another dental office - well it became an expensive venture.
My visit to Dr. West was a life changing experience for me. This was the best dentist experience of my life!!! I giggled like a silly girl in relief when it was over because I was completely shocked! This could be big for me, as I never thought I could get through an appointment without an anxiety attack, without crying, without so much fear in my stomach I fight getting ill. I seriously want to cry in gratitude of this man and one of his fabulous assistants, Bobbi, who held my hand and told me over and over again how great I was doing, not to mention the fun chat we had that put me at ease before he came in. I walked right out that appointment and made an appointment for next month to do a full work up and design my treatment plan for the rest of my issues I have been procrastinating and letting worsen for years, I FINALLY found my dentist �
Dr. West is hands down the best dentist I have ever seen! I need a lot more dental work than the average person and anytime I have to get an oral exam I'm flooded with embarrassment and turn into a nervous wreck. But for the first time, I was treated with the utmost respect and spoke to with such genuine kindness. He explained everything very simply and honestly for me and answered every question I had about any and all details. The best part is he's not only polite but also very intelligent and clearly knows what he's doing. Him and the dental assistant, Chris Jones (who was a complete doll all herself and entertained my 7 month old during the appointment), were absolutely incredible. I can not say enough good things about them and this office! Thank you so much!
Very friendly dental office but being one of the first patients of Dr. Geoff West turned out to be a terrible experience.
